FEX Global Corporate Overview

FEX Global is a subsidiary of the Financial & Energy Exchange Limited which was established in 2006.

The business purpose of the FEX Group is to build and operate regulated and globally competitive licensed marketplaces for both OTC derivative and cleared futures products. FEX Global has a particular focus on the development and listing of tradable product within the commodity, energy and environmental asset classes. Markets within the FEX Group seek to provide participants in the Asia-Pacific region greater product relevance to help enhance both the management of risk and the facilitation of investment in the region.

FEX Group marketplaces are supervised and regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) as well as the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) through its oversight of financial system stability. Under Chapter 7 of the Corporations Act 2001 and the ASIC Market Integrity Rules (Futures Markets) 2017, FEX Group is obligated to ensure its market places operate in a fair, orderly and transparent manner.
